Look familiar?
It's a watch I was pining over months ago, and now it's on my wrist! Adam snuck onto Watchismo and snagged it for me as a graduation gift. It's so perfect and appropriate. I feel at least 15 percent more sophisticated and probably 25 percent or so cooler now. LUV it. It's a huge gold clunker from the 60s. It's in perfect condition and is a legit watch...by that I mean I have to wind it everday (!!!) and it's not even water resistant. It's serious business. With that said, what architecture firm won't want me to work for them immediately when I walk in with this on my wrist? Right?!

NPR was just talking about the demise of the wrist watch with younger people. EXCEPT, as they pointed out, for the "retro watch". You are right in style. Good thing you didn't wear it in the rain on graduation.
