Despite obscene Christmas tree prices, we picked one up today in Faneuil Hall and lugged it home, When Harry Met Sally-style. Inklings of buyers remorse were quashed when we plugged in the lights.  It looks pretty sweet in the giant space (small comparatively, but pretty sweet).

The new apartment needed rugs, utensils, lights, etc. so we made an IKEA pilgrimage yesterday.  

(swedish meatballs) + (awesome new shag rug) = success

I am hounding this on craigslist right now.  It comes with a matching arm chair and that really cool floor lamp slash end table.  please please pleeeeeeease.

We are also hounding an awesome apartment in the North End right now.  The two together would be mind-blowing.  Stay tuned...
